If you prefer to keep your feet on land, take along your surfcaster and spend a day on the beach taking in the fresh clean air, and you might even bring in a red cod or kahawai.

Relaxing ... or even a game of Golf

What better to do whilst on holiday than do nothing?!  A chance to get up late, take in the breathtaking views and meander down to the beach to watch the boats come in after a mornings fishing.  The process in itself is unique with boats brought in by bulldozer and trailer.

World famous in Ngawi is Marco Polo's much- photographed pink bulldozer, affectionately known as 'babe'.

If golfing is a favourite past-time, then you're in luck. Ngawi hosts a wonderfully rustic 'hit-a-round' 9 hole golf course, where the biggest hazards are the ocean and the sheep!

Diving & Surfing

If you love paua, kina or crayfish, then Ngawi is the place to come.  Bring your dive gear and search the rocky coastline for its hidden bounty.

As many a seasoned 'surfer' will attest, Ngawi has arguably the best surf around.  Bring your board and you too can hang ten with the best of them.

Sightseeing

The South coast of the Wairarapa is renowned for its rugged, coastline, but keeping an ever-watchful eye over these waters is the Cape Palliser lighthouse.  Climb the 250 stairs to take in the gorgeous views of the Cape and the South Island.

You can experience the thrills of NZ's natural wildlife at it's best.  Observe NZ fur seals at play everyday.  Marvel at their spunk and remember to take your camera.
